Danvers High School Key Club is a coeducational service organization sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Danvers. The DHS Key Club was established in 1992. Its goal is to promote community service through club-sponsored events, helping the Kiwanis Club of Danvers with its projects, as well as encouraging members in their individually-determined service activities. It has grown from a group of 25 interested students to over 100 active members today. Meetings are held directly after school on Tuesdays in the Mills Center under the leadership of elected Key Club officers and Advisors from the Kiwanis Club of Danvers. Membership in the club is open to all students in the High School. Full active membership is dependent on the fulfillment of participation in 4 of the many club-sponsored events, outside community service, and payment of $12 annual dues. (The dues provide a subscription to the monthly publication Keynoter.)
